David L. Levy, CEO of the Children Rights Council, held a press conference today to draw attention to parental abduction of children to Japan.

He notes that while Japan criticizes other nations for allowing Japanese citizens to be abducted they do nothing to prevent Americans from being kidnapped to Japan. This results in many children being removed from their home by one parent or the other with no legal consequence. (0:34)
